Ingredients:

1 19-oz can chickpeas (reserve liquid)
1/4 cup liquid from the can
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 medium clove garlic
1/4 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp fresh ginger, peeled and minced

Method:

  1. Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
  2. Put chickpeas along with all the ingredients in the food processor.
  3. Pulse until smooth.
  4. Transfer it to a bowl.
